Welcome to the 3rd Annual Top Cop Pistol Championship
The 2016 Top Cop Pistol Championship will take on a new format that is designed to challenge all law enforcement officers to demonstrate their marksmanship skills and endurance level. Each competitor will complete five skill-based stages on the 100 yard range at Markham Park Pistol Range. Trophies and prizes will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishers.
The competition is open to ALL active duty officers in the State of Florida. Top Cop competitors must use a firearm that your department has approved for duty use. Gun makes and models will be checked against those policies before the match (competitors must provide department policy at the registration desk the day of the competition). The Top Cop holster must be a level II+ or III holster (Safariland ALS holster with hood, SSIII Blackhawk Serpa with hood, etc). The match requires approximately 300 rounds of ammunition.
Prizes will be awarded to ALL competitors in order of overall finish at the prize table.
GENERAL SAFETY PROCEDURES:
ALL rules of firearm safety must be followed at ALL times. Any violation will result in DISQUALIFICATION from the competition at the Match Director’s discretion. Firearm competitions are inherently dangerous and strict adherence to the safety rules is for the protection of all shooters. The match rules will be posted and a safety brief will be included online. The Match Director shall be the ultimate and final authority in any and all disputes.
Match T-Shirts are free to all competitors and will be available for sale the day of the competition to spectators.

New this year! Top Cop participants can help raise funds for families of fallen or permanently disabled law enforcement officers and firefighters in Broward County through online giving. A special website has been created for the Top Cop Pistol Championship that allows you to raise funds through emails and social media. Every Top Cop participant that raises $100 will have their entry fee waived. Participants who raise $500 will receive one free ticket to the Fallen Heroes Tribute Dinner on February 27 and become eligible to receive awards for the top three fundraisers.
The top three fundraisers will win the following prizes:
1st Place: Two night stay at a luxurious resort
2nd Place: iPad
3rd Place: Dinner for two at a five-star restaurant
